Photo Rules
Each person sending a photo has to be the owner of that photo.
The photographer’s name is linked to each of the photos entered by him/her.
The editors of the Belgian Species List website have no exclusive publication rights: the owner can publish his/her photos in any other way, as long as they remain copyright free.
The editors retain the right to publish the photos in different media ‘advertising’ the website.
No fee will be payable in any form for the photos.
Each person sending a photo will protect the editors of the website against third-party liability concerning the publication of the photo.
The editors retain the right to change or to adapt a photo as they deem suitable.
The editors retain the right to withdraw the photo without any notice.
The editors retain the right to chose the photos they will publish.
The editors retain the right to change the species names and the taxonomic data supplied with the photos, as they deem suitable.
The editors decline all responsibility for actions undertaken by a third party, including the reuse of a photo and the abuse of author’s data. See also: use of photos.
Under no circumstances, the editors will act as intermediary between the owner of the photo and a third party wishing to reuse the photo.
Each person sending a photo must transmit his/her e-mail address.
